(Joint RP with Isaac Jordan's handler)
Social functions, fighting inside and outside of the ring, family gatherings and rambunctious children. These were all the things running through Blair's mind as she laid in the grass of the backyard of her Vegas home. Having spent most of the day either in bed or on the couch this was her answer to getting outside without having to change out of her black tank top that read ‘for the horde’ in red lettering and her black PJ shorts.
Her gaze was focused up on the night sky, her phone resting on her stomach, playing songs, that occasionally, she’d find herself singing along with. Just then a slightly shadow overtakes the night sky, standing just above her is Isaac Jordan. He lets out a small sigh as he looks down at Blair.
“Hey…”
Blair's gaze shifts slightly to Isaac, biting down on her lower lip.
“Hey…”
Reaching to her phone she brings it up and turns the music off, setting it back down.
“How'd work go?”
He licks his lips as a sigh escapes him.
“It was work… Nothing special about it and nothing really to talk about.”
He runs his hand through his hair.
“Didn't come back to talk work, wanted to talk about us.”
She sighs out as she moves to sit up.
“I'm horrible at those kinds of conversations… Makes me nervous.”
She reaches back, rubbing the back of her neck. He takes a seat next to her as he bites at his lower lip.
“I normally don't let myself get in a spot where words get me, ya know? Try to stay away from the emotional shit that fucks with my head. I dunno, I guess when you said that whole… For now… It got to me.”
He rubs against the bridge of his nose.
“I fucking love you… For me to say that to someone, it's fucking big for me.”
“You gotta realize you fell for someone that's never exactly had a good run in this department. I've been broken more times than I can count and every now and then my head gets the best of me. I told you, the only love I ever had that didn't turn its back on me was the ring.”
She looks down and lets out a breath.
“I fell for you and all those fears come back. Am I good enough? Am I gonna fuck this up somehow? Is he gonna get bored and leave me?... I… I don't know. Like I said, I'm damaged.”
He leans in and kisses her hard, holding the back of her head as his fingers tangle in her soft hair. He breaks the kiss and smiles.
“Damaged or not… You are mine. I'm sorry I walked away for a while, I will never leave you again.”
His eyes stay on hers, a slight smile coming to her lips as she looks back at him.
“I love being yours… But if we ever get into a fight again and you leave directly after I'm going to kick your ass when you get back, like, brass knucks and everything. That was hell.”
He coyly smiles cupping her cheek in his hand.
“I love when you talk dirty to me babe.”
Before Blair can reply he kisses her passionately again on the lips, pulling her onto his lap before breaking the kiss. Taking a breath after that kiss, Blair smiles as she leans forward and rests her forehead against his.
“I swear, can't even threaten you properly… But seriously... I didn't think you were coming back.”
He keeps his forehead against hers as he wraps his arms around her body.
“Really sorry… I guess I'm gonna have to keep makin it up to you until you think I did enough then.”
He lightly pecks her lips.
“But know I ain't goin anywhere… Not without you with me.”
“Promise?”
She moves her arms around him, a playful smirk on her lips.
“Cause, I mean, that's a lot of me to deal with.”
His eyes lock on hers as a grin comes to his face.
“I think… A promise is exactly what it should be…”
He reaches in his pocket and takes out a black box that he rolls in the palm of his hand.
“Whatta think about you and me getting married?”
Her eyes go a bit wide, looking between him and the box, thinking it over for a moment.
“I… Oh crap…”
She sucks in her lower lip, chewing on it for a moment, eventually nodding her head.
“We don't have to make a big thing out of it though, do we?”
He chuckles and opens the box. Inside is a fairly good sized diamond on a white gold ring.
“Don't care about how big you wanna make it… Just care what you say to this question. Will you marry me?”
“Jesus, I must be crazy…”
She whispers that under her breath before flashing him a smile.
“Yes, yeah… Fuck it… But know this… I'm going to be a widow before I get divorced again.”
He grins again and chuckles.
“That your way of sayin you'd rather kill me than divorce me?”
He shakes his head.
“Fuck it, I'd rather be dead than without you anyway.”
He goes and places the ring on her finger. Once the ring was in place Blair leans forward and embraces Isaac in another kiss, letting it linger for a few moments before breaking away.
“I love you.”
“And I love you…”
Isaac kisses her lips again, holding her close in the moonlight.
